Saturday 2nd March is Dr. Seuss's Birthday and even though this children's literary icon passed away in 1991, it is traditional to still celebrate this day in public schools across the US.
This year each class at our elementary school were set the task of decorating a cereal box, based on one of the Dr's. books.
After a vote, the children for whom I am Room Mom this year decided "Green Eggs and Ham" would be our inspiration. This was our "finished piece".
Voting takes place tomorrow and I'm keeping my fingers crossed our class wins.
