Easter 2013

Easter Crafting

It's been a very busy week getting everything ready for the long weekend.

I have brought far too many eggs and now i have to make lots of goody bags for them to put them in.

Lots of fun though!

M & M Easter tubes

I used the Stampin Up! goody bags and filled them with the Easter M & M's.

The stamp was a "cheapy" from the bargain bins at Michaels.

Bunny Jelly Bean bags

I made my own template and cut out two heads from paper, sewing them on my machine. Add a few jelly beans and voila! Something for little kids (or big ones) and perfect if you don't want to overdose on chocolate!!

Waffle Cone Carrots

Use some cone shaped cello bags and a waffle cone. Fill with a mixture of eggs and jelly beans, add top with green shredded paper and finish with ribbon.

Looks a bit like a carrot and a neat gift for Easter.

We made these for the teachers at school.

Strawberry carrots.

Talk about easy. Melt some orange candy buttons and dip in the strawberries. pipe some more orange candy over them and you have some little carrots!

Cupcakes for the Easter Party

Baked 2 dozen little cupcakes and one dozen large ones. Used my special Wilton piping nozzle and some chicks and bunnies I found at Walmart. The kids loved them and I have a few left over for tomorrow to take on our picnic.

Eggs for my table

I found the wooden eggs at Joanns and painted them. Used my Martha Stewart score board to make the rosettes. Wooden cotton reels and lolly pop sticks with a bit of help for my glue gun and now I have some eggy tu-tu's for my table.

Happy Easter!
